El autor de la lección está afirmando que el Nuevo Testamento está vinculado al Antiguo Testamento. Pero los dos tratan del problema del pecado y de su solución. En esto, los dos se refieren a JESUCRISTO como el Salvador. En el Antiguo Testamento, el Salvador estaba representado por un cordero a ser sacrificado; en el Nuevo Testamento, JESÚS es ese cordero, que lo simbolizaba, y que había de venir.
